Paula Cox reported that her Papillon, Dylan, won the first Award of Excellence at the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. Dylan also won best bred by and made the cut in the bred by group. At the Northwest Arkansas show, Dylan won the breed both days. Cindy was winners bitch both days. Smokey was winners dog on Saturday. Mackenzie was reserve on Saturday and George was reserve on Sunday.
Jimmeye Moore reported that her bred by bitch, Breeze, was winners bitch from the bred by class on Saturday in Hot Springs. Jimmeye thanked Erin and Deidra for helping with Jimmeye's five class bitches shown at the Hot Springs show.
Paula Cox reported that her Papillon, Dylan, is 17 points behind first place. Treasure was best bred by in Dallas and winners bitch both days in Hot Springs. Treasure finished her championship in Fort Smith at nine months of age. Treasure won all of her points from the bred by class. Paula thanked Deidra for helping with her three class bitches at Hot Springs.

Paula Cox reported that her Papillon, Mackenzie, was winners bitch, best of winners and best opposite in Longview for a three point major. Treasure, shown in bred by, was winners bitch, best of winners and best opposite in Topeka for two points. She was winners bitch, best of winners and best opposite two days in Monroe for a three point major and two points. Dylan is ranked #2 in both systems.
Candace Mizell reported that her Chinook, Kay Cee, is featured on every page of the national breed magazine.
Carol Lesh reported that she is now Carol Crites. She is now married to Richard Crites. They are expecting a baby in September. Carol's son, Matthew, graduated from high school.
February/March
Paula reported that her Papillon, Dylan, has won 17 best of breeds, two group 2?s, and three group 3?s since the beginning of the year. He is the #1 ranked Papillon in the all breed system and the #2 ranked Pap in the breed system.
Erin reported that her ACD, Carrie, qualified three times in an agility trial.
Carrol reported that her OES, Star, finished her championship in Houston . She was best of winners for a four point major.
Jimmeye reported that her Australian Shepherd, Kiki, improved each day at the shows in San Antonio .
Candace reported that Kay Cee received her first leg for her rally advanced title. She also reported that The Chinook Club of America has been named the new parent club and may be an AKC recognized breed by 2008.
Deidra reported that her Shetland Sheepdog, Storm, received five RAE legs and first and second CDX legs. Skipper got his RN. Grace was winners bitch and Shaine was winners dog at the recent show in Camden. They both received their first points. Grace was reserve winners bitch on the second day of the show.

Jim Kiehn reported that he has a new PBGV, Stella. Stella is 12 weeks old. Layla won best of breed at the Fort Bend Kennel Club show in Rosenburg , Texas on Saturday. Carey won best of breed at the same show on Sunday. Carey was best of winners both days in Waco.
Brenda Moore reported that Braden, shown by Erin Eichler, received four points in Jackson. Braden is an Australian Shepherd. Go Braden!
Paula Cox reported that her Papillon, Dylan, won best of breed both days in Elk City , Okalahoma. Dylan finished 2006 as the #10 Papillon in all breed and the #14 Papillon in breed. Dylan won best of breed at the Nolan River show and won toy group two. Dylan is the #1 Papillon in the all breed system for the first week of 2007. |
