Carroll Arnett reported that her Old English Sheepdog, Star, picked up five points at two shows and needs only five points and one major to finish. Brenda Moore reported that her Australian Shepherd, Braden, was winners dog, best of winners and best of opposite over two champions at the recent show in Waco. Braden has eight points! Paula Cox reported that her Papillon, Dylan was best of breed both days at the Fort Bend show in Rosenburg, Texas. Dylan won an award of excellence at the AKC Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach, California. Dylan also won best of breed both days in the Northwest Arkansas show in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He won the toy group on Saturday and placed third on Sunday. Gidget was reserve winners bitch on Sunday. October Erin Eichler’s Australian Cattle Dog, Carrie, received her NA (Novice Agility) at the ACD National Speciality. She received second place. Go Carrie! Deidra Campbell’s Shetland Sheepdog, Grace, competed for the first time in rally and received her first leg at the Hot Springs Kennel Club show. Way to go! Jimmeye Moore’s blue merle Australian Shepherd, CJ, was winners dog, best of winners and best of opposite sex at the show in Humble, Texas. Go CJ! Paula Cox’s Papillon, Dylan, was best of breed one day in Dallas, one day in Hot Springs and both days in Fort Smith. Gidget won the puppy match in Hot Springs. Although he did not brag, Hiram McClure has a new and very nice Irish Setter puppy. September Deidra Campbell reported that Sage (Shetland Sheepdog) finished her championship in Monroe, Louisiana. Go Sage!!!! Deidra is also sporting a new Kia Sedona. Jimmeye Moore reported that Porter ( Australian Shepherd and a new champion) won back to back best of breeds in Tunica, Mississippi. Go Porter!!!! Brenda Moore reported that Braden (Australian Shepherd) was winners dog, best of winners and best of opposite sex in Monroe, Louisiana. Brenda also reported that Breeze (Australian Shepherd bred by Breezy Oaks) won a group 4 in the B-Match. Paula Cox reported that Dylan (Papillon) won back to back best of breeds in Houston at the Toy Dog Show. Dylan is ranked #7 all breed and #24 in breed. Paula also reported that she has a new Papillon puppy, Gidget. August James and Jimmeye Moore’s Australian Shepherd, Porter, finished his championship with a five point major in very tough competition in Houston, Texas. Go Porter!!! Jack Hehmeyer shot a HUGE African Cape Buffalo. He was the largest buffalo to come out of a three million acre concession in the last three years. Jack shared pictures of his prize. Deidra Campbell’s Shetland Sheepdog, Sage, picked up her 13th point in Longview and needs only two singles to finish her championship. Erin Eichler reported that her Australian Cattle Dog, Carrie, finished her RN (Rally Novice) in Longview. Paula Cox’s Papillon, Dylan, was best of breed in Houston. There were seven specials. Stormy won her bred by class in Corpus Christi and Molly kept her tail up. July Erin Eichler reported that Storm got four V one ratings and finished his International Championship. He also won a group three, a group one and a Reserve Best in Show. Cherie Holmquist reported that she and Clint have a contract on their house and will now be able to spend every summer in Wyoming. They plan on downsizing and possibly buying a motor home. Paula Cox reported Dylan was Best of Breed in Little Rock and placed third in group. Dylan should be ranked 6th in the All Breed System when the new rankings are released. Molly kept her tail up in the ring at the Dallas Toy Dog show. June Paula Cox’s Papillon, Dylan, Namaste Another Roadside Attraction, won his second major in Oklahoma City at the toy dog show. Paul and Andrea Stratton are new grandparents. They have a new grandson and a new granddaughter Congratulations!! May Erin Eichler’s Australian Cattle Dog, Carrie, got a 96 and a 4th place, and a 93 and a 3rd place in rally in Harrison, Arkansas. Jennifer Campbell’s Shetland Sheepdog, Skipper, got one leg toward his MXJ and two points toward his MACH. Jim Kiehn’s PBGV, Cary, was Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for a four point major under judge Dorothy Nickles. Cary and Precious were 3rd and 4th place in their classes at the PBGV National Specialty. Paula Cox’s Papillon, Ace, was Best of Breed in Shreveport and was pulled for group. Dylan was winners dog and best of winners in Monroe and Molly was winners bitch and best of opposite sex. Deidra Campbell’s Shetland Sheepdog, Sage, won a 3 point specialty major in Shreveport. Candace Mizell’s Chinook, Kay Cee, won her CD title in three consecutive shows under three different judges. April Cherie Holmquist won three raffle prizes at the Little Rock dog show. Jack Hehmeyer's German Shepherd won a leg on his CD. Jack won two raffle prizes. |
